Kicking off the ride with new tires and a couple nights in Phoenix.

Day 3 headed for bike rally in Rocky Point Mexico.

Day 6 ride to Tijuana.

Day 7 we also spotted a fellow adventure rider while having breakfast at the Praga Cafe Bistro. Our main purpose in Tijuana was to obtain our Multiple Immigration Form (FMM) for foreign nationals entering Mexico. We walked back to the USA and reentered Mexico at PedWest Garita to get our FMM. 

Day 8 we headed down the Pacific side of the Baja to Cielito Lindo.  One night with the locals testing the famous Cielito Lindo Margaritas. 

Day 9 we started the day by finding out that sand and a fully loaded 2009 R1200GS don't mix.

Day 10 we found all the roads in the Baja were in really great shape. Mostly two lane black top with without a shoulder. Today was our first really beautiful ride as we approached the Sea of Cortez and Loreto.  

Day 11 - 13 a few days in Loreto with the locals.

Day 14 a night in La Paz and final logisics for the ferry to the mainland.

Day 15 overnight Baja Ferry ride to Mazatlan.

Day 16 exit the Baja Ferry and ride.

Day 17 we town hopped down the coast to Sayulita and met up with some friends. Had a couple navigation problems like ending up riding the sidewalk. Remember to check your shoes in the morning!

Day 19 was a 130 miles of Blue Agave fields on the road to Tequila. Also started to research a fuel leak at the top of the 2009 R1200GS fuel pump. Apparently this is a pretty well known issue!
